December 2020 First Looks
Summer 2021 We have the keys!
January 2022 First works on the Bothy & Greenhouse
February 2022 Wall falls down in wind storm
Spring 2022 First paths are restored
Summer 2022 Removing large concrete blocks
Autumn 2022 Lots and lots of pruning and tree removal
April 2023 Lots of discoveries, removing Ivy, moving bricks, preparing for wildflower planting.
May 2023 first new trees arrive, more ivy removal, wet wet weather, cleaning the loft in the rain and planning.
June 2023 Wildflowers are coming!
July 3, 2023, Finally Sun and green has started to take over again!
July 20, 2023 Living (camping) for the first time on our property, taking down a small brick wall.
August 5th 2023 Working in the Garden clearing and cleaning walls.
August 15th Drone Footage and sooo many lovely fruits and flowers.
November 11th, 2023 Wildflowers are leaving and woodshed cozy and warm.
February 2024 Floors removed and new concrete. Plus second to last layer of rock on all paths.
March 8th, 2024 Planting begins on a large scale!
March 15th, Cleaning interior of the greenhouse to ready for repointing. All glass was removed and doors are being refurbished.
March 20th Acquired the land in front of the walled garden and dreaming of the new Bothy Orchard
March 30 Septic System Going in
March 31 Still a little chilly outside, but warm in the woodshed
April 6th the Roofers Begin
and the Woodshed Shower is underway!
April 16th more trees along the paths
The May 16th loft is looking a bit messy, but there is lots of light!
May 20th Dormers!
June 12th Bothy Garden Poppies are back, and this year, we will cultivate all to rehouse them in their forever home!
June 12th Stone Walls are under way
New Master Bath Windows are coming along!

January and fixing the top of the wall and the second Roof is started
New entrance cut between Bothy and future extension
February 16th Dry Liner and Oak Beams
Feb 24 Plaster is underway
Gutters finally arrived Feb 28th
Lime Render is gorgeous and all is beginning to look like a home.
13 March and Loft Shower is taking shape
March 14 all tiles arrive
Underfloor heating going in!
18 March and Tiles are going down
End of March and we finally have a second new roof and loft is dry enough to finish!
Cedar Roof is also finished, moving fast now!
27th March Bothy Bees arrive
Boiler Roof is being constructed
Hole is drilled for wood burning stove
Still a lot of tiles and stairs to extension being prototyped

April 1st Reclaimed Oak Kitchen Cabinets are delivered
April 3rd final tiles are being laid in our master bath and they are amazing!
April 8th the fallen wall get's some much needed love.
